Apart from software for Apple Silicon, I have avoided adding ARM software to the website. Over the past couple of years ARM based PCs have been on the rise and the latest stats show that around 10% of Windows PCs are currently running on this platform. The number is estimated to be twice that for Linux users and I, myself, am currently running Ubuntu on a Raspberry Pi 5. Do to this fact, I will start adding ARM versions of software for Linux and Windows as I update and find time.

The Emulation Realm has existed for almost 21 years. I've been debating about archiving older software, but it seems unnecessary for Windows, confusing for Linux, and possible for Mac.
The site was launched in 2003 and every peice of Windows XP software I have tested on my Windows 11 system still works.
Honestly, most downloads are for Windows software and Linux users have never really used this site due to the nature of repositories and Linux being Linux.
Mac users, on the other hand, have been a consistent growth.
I was never able to test Mac versions of software until this past year when I purchased a Mac Mini M2. I will continue to list Silicon and Intel packages as long as Apple supports it.
The latest news is that Apple will support Rosetta 2 until at least 2026. I think I will hold off on archiving the Intel software until at least then.
I actually have some software for Mac PPC on this site. I guess those should have been archived a long time ago.

Real life has been quite busy the past few months and I’ve had no spare time to update the site. I’m currently updating existing files to their latest versions. This will probably take a couple of weeks and, if time permits, I’ll start updating the News section every few days or maybe weekly.

As I stated earlier, I bought a new house. I've had to rebuild the HVAC system, the deck, repaired some plumbing and did some rewiring. I still have a few more projects and then I will be back to posting updates. I had not expected this much work when I moved in. Still love the new home and I'll be back soon.

I "allowed" Google Adsense to control my site for a few months and was unaware of how they placed an ad after every news article, popups and just way more ads than anyone should ever see on any site.
I was showing a co-worker my website, on my work laptop, when I realized how much of a cluster**** Google had made of my site.
I Use an ad blocker and don't have a problem with visitors who do the same.
I apologize, and am not sure, how long my site has been flooded with these ads.
I simply want one ad banner that can easily be reduced or closed.
If you choose to support this site, great! If you hate ads, then block them.
This is a hobby and personal passion website. I like offsetting some of the cost to run it, but I don't expect visitors to deal with dozens of ads per page.

After I took a closer look at Suyu (sue you), I realized it was just Yuzu with a re-branding. Apparently I was not the only one as Gitlab recieved a DMCA take down notice and all devs accounts were disabled. Nintendo seems to be on the war path lately and who knows who they will go after next. The fall out from the Yuzu / Citra lawsuit has already caused several developers to throw in the towel. On Android, the Pizza emulators (GBA GBC) have been removed, and Drastic (NDS) is now free but will more than likely be removed soon.
There is another Switch emulator for Android that I've been keeping an eye on, Strato. It would appear the lead developer on that project has also decided to call it quits.

Nintendo of America filed a lawsuit against Tropic Haze LLC, the creators of the Nintendo Switch emulator Yuzu and Nintendo 3DS emulator Citra. Tropic Haze LLC has agreed to pay $2,400,000 in damages and was ordered to remove their website as well as all access to binaries and source code. Since this court order is within the jurisdiction of the United States and so are myself and servers, I have no choice but to remove these files to avoid any legal action.
Both emulators do not contain any illegal code but require illegal versions of encryption keys. This, and the fact that over a million copies of "The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom" were downloaded and playable on Yuzu and Citra before the official launch, may have been what lead to the lawsuit.
