The version of DOSBox Staging will be recognized again.
The Emulation Realm has existed for almost 21 years. I've been debating about archiving older software, but it seems unnecessary for Windows, confusing for Linux, and possible for Mac.
The site was launched in 2003 and every peice of Windows XP software I have tested on my Windows 11 system still works.
Honestly, most downloads are for Windows software and Linux users have never really used this site due to the nature of repositories and Linux being Linux.
Mac users, on the other hand, have been a consistent growth.
I was never able to test Mac versions of software until this past year when I purchased a Mac Mini M2. I will continue to list Silicon and Intel packages as long as Apple supports it.
The latest news is that Apple will support Rosetta 2 until at least 2026. I think I will hold off on archiving the Intel software until at least then.
I actually have some software for Mac PPC on this site. I guess those should have been archived a long time ago.
