What's New:
GameEx and GameEx Arcade Edition have been combined into a single installer and should cover every Windows operating system since and including XP. I spent a lot of time optimizing and cleaning up the installer as well as testing on many operating systems and platforms. They both share the same files and config but the Setup Wizard will show the appropriate options for both versions.
Main thing to note when upgrading for the first time is the install will use the install folder for GameEx not Arcade Edition.
It seems like a simple nice and obvious improvement but all this required a lot of work and testing.
It does mean one installer build and upload for me too which helps.
There are also a few bug fixes and optimizations.

Apart from software for Apple Silicon, I have avoided adding ARM software to the website. Over the past couple of years ARM based PCs have been on the rise and the latest stats show that around 10% of Windows PCs are currently running on this platform. The number is estimated to be twice that for Linux users and I, myself, am currently running Ubuntu on a Raspberry Pi 5. Do to this fact, I will start adding ARM versions of software for Linux and Windows as I update and find time.
Xcpc is a portable Amstrad CPC 464/664/6128 emulator written in C and C++. It is designed to run on any POSIX compliant system having an X11 server, including Linux, BSD and Unix.
Note there is absolutely no support for Microsoft Windows operating systems and there never will be. Please do not ask me to add such functionality.
Xcpc is designed to emulate classic range of the Amstrad CPC systems :
The Amstrad CPC+ range and the GX4000 console are not currently emulated and likely will not be.
